McPike Park

Central Park, recently renamed McPike Park in 2018 in honor of longtime principal of East High School Milton McPike, spans nearly 6 acres, just blocks from the State Capitol. The design developed by MSA provides for an urban green space which consists of several bicycle and pedestrian paths, a restroom pavilion and large plaza space which is used to host several festivals, performances, and special events, including a weekly farmers’ market. After 40 years in the making, we are proud to bring McPike Park to the Madison Community.
